The Turkmen need another week to decide whether or not they give me the possibility to pass through their territory (I ask for five days, they take a good two weeks processing). So I've decided to start cycling and return to Tashkent by train next week.

ReplyDeleteWhat is happening with these visas!! Just arrived yesterday in Tashkent and today applied for the turkmen visa...back in 5 days next thursday, the 17th...when are you coming back to Tashkent? how are you with this cold??

ReplyDeleteMostprobably I'll be back in Tashkent tomorrow or the day after. Have to leave Uzbekistan before 20 December, so the 17th is too late for me.. But maybe you'll overtake me somewhere in Turkmenistan or Iran : ).
